
Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police has taken major action against terrorism. An interstate and international terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) has been busted. Seven people have been arrested in this action, including two doctors.
2,900 kg explosives recovered so far
According to the news agency report, the police have recovered a huge quantity of arms, ammunition and about 2,900 kg of IED making material from them. This operation was carried out in joint action of Jammu-Kashmir and Faridabad Police.
According to the police, the arrested accused include Dr. Muazmil Ahmed Ganai of Faridabad and Dr. Adil, resident of Kulgam. Investigation has revealed that these people were in contact with foreign handlers and were raising funds through social and educational networks.

Police found a Swift car on the trail of Muzammil, from which Krinkov assault rifle, three magazines and 83 rounds were recovered. Apart from this, a pistol, 8 rounds, two magazines and two empty shells were also found. All these weapons were recovered from the same Swift car which is said to be owned by a female doctor working at Al Falah University. The police is currently interrogating him.
The biggest revelation came when the police raided a hideout mentioned by Muzammil in Dhauj area. About 360 kg of ammonium nitrate was found there, which was kept hidden in eight big and four small suitcases.
According to police sources, this explosive had reached Muzammil only about 15 days ago. This material is called ‘white powder’ in the terrorist code word.
Police have also recovered 20 timers and 20 batteries from Dhauj’s room. Police say that Muzammil had rented this room only to hide explosives.
Police caught Doctor Muzamil
Police got another big success in Fatehpur Taga village. In the raid going on since morning, 2563 kg of suspected explosive material has been recovered from a house.
According to the police, this house was taken on rent by Dr. Muzamil from a Maulana. Maulana has been taken into custody by the police in the morning and he is being interrogated. It is being told that Fatehpur Taga village is located at a distance of about 4 kilometers from Dhauj.
‘White Collar Terror Network’
Police said that this was a ‘white collar terror network’ in which some professionals and students were associated with the terrorists. He was coordinating the spread of ideology, fund movement and supply of weapons through encrypted channels.
On October 19, a case was registered after Jaish-e-Mohammed posters were found in Bunpora Naugam area of ​​Srinagar. During the investigation, the police came to know that this network extended not only to the valley but also to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
Seven suspected terrorists caught
The seven arrested have been identified as Arif Nisar Dar alias Sahil, Yasir-ul-Ashraf, Maqsood Ahmed Dar alias Shahid (all Srinagar), Maulvi Irfan Ahmed (Shopian), Jamir Ahmed Ahangar (Ganderbal), Dr Muazmil Ahmed Ganai (Pulwama), and Dr Adil (Kulgam).
Doctor arrested from Faridabad
Dr. Muazmil was arrested from his rented house in Faridabad, from where the police recovered 360 kg of ammonium nitrate, AK-56 rifle, AK Krinkov, Beretta pistol, Chinese Star pistol and hundreds of cartridges. Police said that this network used to collect money in the name of social welfare and spend it on terrorist activities.

It is noteworthy that earlier, on Sunday, the police had conducted a search operation in Fatehpur Taga village in which 360 kg of ammonium nitrate was found in the rented room of a Kashmiri doctor Muzamil. Maulana had given this room on rent to the accused. Haryana DGP O.P. on recovery of 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate in Faridabad. Singh said, “…I congratulate all the policemen involved in this operation, and we are confident that we have succeeded in busting a large module in time. Various agencies are working on it. As information comes to light, the concerned agencies will share it. The investigation is ongoing, so it would not be appropriate to comment further on it.”
