30 storey Bihar Bhavan will be built in Mumbai, MNS warned, said that Bihar Bhavan will not be allowed to be built in Mumbai.

Mumbai Bihar government is planning to build a 30-storey Bihar Bhavan in Mumbai for officials, guests and patients. Rs 314 crore will be spent on this. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has opposed the project, questioning its necessity amid Maharashtra’s issues and suggesting construction of the hospital in Bihar. Actually, Bihar government has announced that after Delhi, it will now build Bihar Bhawan in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Giving this information, Bihar Housing Department Secretary Kumar Ravi said that Bihar Bhawan will be built in the Elphinstone Estate area of Mumbai Port Trust and the state cabinet has approved the administrative expenditure of Rs 314.20 crore for this project. Kumar Ravi said that the construction of Bihar Bhawan in Mumbai is an important step towards the progress of the state and public welfare. However, opposition to the construction of this Bihar Bhawan has already started, with newly elected MNS corporator Yashwant Killedar warning that he will not allow Bihar Bhawan to be built in Mumbai. He said, there are so many problems in Maharashtra, farmers are troubled, education of students has become expensive and in such a situation they are going to spend Rs 314 crore to build Bihar Bhavan. It is being said that this building will have facilities for patients coming from Bihar. Then why don’t they build a big hospital in Bihar with the same amount?

However, MNS has opposed the construction of this Bihar Bhavan announced by the Bihar government.
