Jai Baba Kedar… doors of Kedarnath Dham closed for winter.

Desk. The doors of Kedarnath Temple of Uttarakhand were closed for winter from today. On this occasion, a large crowd of devotees gathered at Kedarnath Dham. Today, on the occasion of Bhai Dooj, the doors of Kedarnath Dham were closed for the next six months at around 8:30 am. Thousands of devotees also had darshan of Baba. During this time, the entire Kedar valley echoed with the slogans of Har Har Mahadev and Jai Baba Kedar. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present on this occasion. At the same time, the doors of Yamunotri Dham will be closed for winter at 12:30 pm today.

Now Baba Kedar will be worshiped for 6 months at the winter seat of Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. After the closing of the doors, the mobile cart of Lord Shiva will leave for the winter seat of Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. On the first day of the journey, i.e. today, Doli will rest for the night in Rampur. After this it will reach Guptkashi on 24th October. On the third day, on 25th October, the doli will reach its winter resting place Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. Here, arrangements for worship and darshan of Baba Kedar will be made for the entire 6 months.
