After warning to Hamas, US Vice President Weiss again gave statement on Gaza ceasefire

Desk. US Vice President JD Vance and Trump administration’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff are in Tel Aviv to take stock of the situation after the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Recently JD Vance warned Hamas that if Hamas does not cooperate, it will be wiped out. Not only this, Vance had also asked Israel to have some patience regarding the ceasefire agreement.

Now America’s Vice President JD Vance expressed an optimistic stance regarding the Gaza ceasefire and said that the situation is better than expected. Vance said this after visiting the new center built for civil and military cooperation in Israel. He acknowledged that there have been some incidents of violence recently but that progress is better than expected regarding the ceasefire implemented after the two-year Israel-Hamas war. Vance said he was confident that this peace would last for a long time.

Steve Witkoff, the Middle East envoy of the US President Donald Trump administration, said, “We have reached a place where we never imagined we would reach.” Vance, Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner reached Israel amid the threat of ceasefire. Amid the ceasefire agreement, questions still remain about whether Hamas will give up weapons, when and how international security forces will be deployed in Gaza, and who will rule the territory after the war.
