Trump’s claim… ended eight wars in eight months, will soon stop the war between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Kuala Lumpur. American President Trump thinks that he can end every war in the world. He has said that he is going to resolve the ongoing border dispute between Pakistan and Afghanistan ‘very soon’. That is, Trump is saying that now he will end the war with Taliban, the enemy with whom America fought for two decades. On this occasion, Trump praised Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir and said that ‘both are excellent people’ and he is confident that the solution to this dispute will come ‘soon’.
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet signed the peace deal in the presence of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and US President Trump. This agreement formally recognizes the ceasefire signed between the two countries in July and is being considered a historic step towards restoration of peace on the border. Trump said, ‘This is a historic day for the people of Southeast Asia. This agreement will end the military conflict between the two countries and lay the foundation of permanent peace.
On this occasion, Trump said that his administration has ‘ended eight wars in just eight months’ and now only one conflict is left which is ongoing between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said, ‘I know both the countries well, and I have full confidence that this issue will also be resolved soon. With the agreement, the US signed a major trade agreement with Cambodia and an agreement on critical minerals with Thailand.
Cambodia’s PM praised
Cambodia’s Prime Minister Manet also praised the role of Trump, the Chinese government and Malaysia. He said this agreement is a time to rebuild trust and move forward. In fact, the conflict that broke out on the border between Thailand and Cambodia in July had claimed dozens of lives and left millions homeless. The dispute was based on a border dispute dating back to the French colonial period, involving the Preahavihar temple area. On the third day of the conflict, Trump spoke on phone to the then leaders of both the countries and appealed to end the conflict. He warned that if the war was not stopped, his trade negotiations with Washington would be halted.
