Emraan Hashmi said on the film ‘Haq’ – “Shah Bano was not just a person, but a battle of thoughts”

Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s upcoming film ‘Haq’ is going to be released in theaters soon. It is a courtroom drama film. The story of this film is based on Shah Bano Begum case. ‘It was a historic case’
Actor Emraan Hashmi spoke to ANI and talked about the story of his upcoming film Haq. He said, ‘It is inspired by the 1985 case in which Ahmed Khan divorced Shah Bano. This was a historic case. At that time, no one knew that Shah Bano was fighting for many women and future generations. In this film, we have shown this case in an unbiased manner.

‘My son does both puja and namaz’
Further in the conversation, Emraan Hashmi was asked about the tension between Hindus and Muslims. In response, the actor said, ‘Being a liberal Muslim, I have no problem with the approach of this film because we are not defaming any community.’ He further said, ‘I am married to Parveen, who is a Hindu. My son does both puja and namaz. My mother is Christian. I have been brought up in secularism, so I am looking at this film from that perspective. Now I am not thinking about what will be the reaction of the people.

When will the film be released?
The film ‘Haq’, directed by Suparn Verma, is going to be released on November 7. Apart from Emraan Hashmi, Yami Gautam, Vartika Singh will also be seen in the film. Let us tell you that this is Vartika’s debut film.
