New Delhi. The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for two major incidents of murder of Indian-origin industrialist Darshan Singh Sahari in Canada and firing at the house of a Punjabi singer. Both the incidents took place in the Abbotsford area of Canada and are being directly linked to the arrest of gang member Jagdeep Singh alias Jagga in the US by the Rajasthan Police.
Goldie Dhillon, associated with the gang, posted on social media that Indian industrialist Darshan Singh Darshan has been murdered by his gang. Dhillon claimed that Sahashi was involved in a big drug trade and did not pay money to the gang, after which he was shot. In the same post, Goldie also took responsibility for the firing at the house of Punjabi singer Channi Nattan. He wrote, “Sardar Kheda is the reason for the firing yesterday at singer Channi Nattan’s house.” Also warned the music industry that any artist who works with Sardar Kheda in future will be responsible for his own losses, as the gang will continue to cause “huge losses” to Kheda. These incidents have spread panic among the Indian community living in Canada. The local police has started investigation, while agencies in India too are keeping an eye on the international network of these gangs.
