The study states that Iran, known as Persia in ancient times, has been the oldest center of human settlements. Evidence of human life has been found here which is more than one lakh years old, which indicates that the roots of civilization first flourished in this area. The report said that Iran’s history is linked to the Elamite civilization, which began around 2700 BC. This civilization is considered to be one of the earliest organized settlements in human history, where people first started group living, farming and trading activities. Archaeologists have found evidence of many ancient cities, pottery, scripts and religious remains during excavations here. These discoveries make it clear that Iran was not only the initial center of human settlement, but it also laid the foundation of society’s organization and culture.
According to the study, humans were living in different parts of Iran since one lakh years ago.
