IAF aircraft will show strength in Dubai, Minister of State for Defense has high-level meeting with many companies

New Delhi. Air Force Vice Chief Air Marshal Narmadeshwar Tiwari on Monday expressed hope that foreign buyers will show tremendous interest in the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft at the Dubai Air Show, 2025.

This air show is being organized at Al Maktoum Airport from 17 to 21 November. Speaking at the India Pavilion, Air Marshal Tiwari said that India’s participation in this air show reflects the growing defense cooperation between the two countries at many levels.

Tejas has participated before also
He said that Tejas and Suryakiran aerobatics teams have been sent here on the request of UAE authorities. We have a very good cooperation with them both at strategic and service level. Tejas has been here before and participated in it. People’s interest in this was tremendous. We hope that this year’s performance will live up to the great expectations of not only the local people but also the visitors.

Indian Air Force will buy 200 Tejas aircraft
The Vice Chief said that the Indian Air Force is purchasing about 200 Tejas aircraft and the induction of such a large number of aircraft is also a strong message to the international partners. He is sure that this will generate a lot of interest here too.

The Dubai Air Show is held every two years and is considered one of the world’s premier aerospace events. It is attended by over 1,500 exhibitors and over 1,48,000 industry experts from 150 countries. Contributors include global aviation companies such as Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Thales, Airbus, Lockheed Martin and Callidus.
