
Bengaluru. The robbery of Rs 7.11 crore in Silicon City Bengaluru created a sensation in the city. The incident took place near South End Circle, where six-seven criminals traveling in an Innova car stopped the vehicle which was going to deposit money in the ATM and fled after looting Rs 7.11 crore. This incident of robbery took place near Jayaderi Dairy Circle.
According to the information, the number of the car which was the victim of robbery was GJ 01 HT 9173. This vehicle was going to deposit money in the ATM. Meanwhile, criminals traveling in an Innova car stopped the car at Jayaderi Dairy Circle and, posing as RBI officers, threatened all the employees including the driver and the gunman. The accused parked the vehicle at the Dairy Circle flyover, loaded the money from the CMS vehicle loaded with money into their vehicle and fled away.
The criminals stopped the vehicle near Ashok Pillar of Jaynagar police station area and claimed that they were from RBI. He also said that the vehicle was violating the rules. After this he hijacked the car and directed it to come to the police station. At the time of the robbery, there were four CMS employees in the ATM vehicle, a driver, two gunmen and a cash depositor. The police have taken these employees to Siddhpur police station for questioning.
