Wing Commander Namansh Syal was posted at Hyderabad Air Base. Syal had studied from Sainik School, Hamirpur. He was known for his discipline and good work. His wife Afsan is also an officer in the Air Force. Both have a five year old daughter. The martyr Wing Commander’s father is a retired army officer. After serving in the army, Syal’s father became the principal in the Himachal Pradesh Education Department. When this accident happened, Syal’s mother Beena Devi was in Hyderabad.
