
Islamabad. The area echoed with the blasts that took place at the Federal Constabulary in Peshawar, Pakistan on Monday morning. This is the headquarters of Para Military Forces, where the terrorist attack took place. There were two massive explosions along with intermittent shelling.
Terrorists attacked Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on Monday morning. According to media reports, terrorists have attacked the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar. Confirming the attack, Peshawar Capital City Police Officer Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed told the media that there is continuous intermittent firing between the security forces and the attackers. There are reports of two massive explosions in the area. The police officer says that the terrorists have targeted the headquarters and opened fire, on which the security forces took immediate retaliatory action. Taking action, the area has been cordoned off and additional forces have reached the spot and conducted a major operation.
According to media reports, the busy Saddar area of Peshawar has been completely closed after the terrorist attack. The movement of common citizens and vehicles was also immediately banned. Police and Rapid Reaction Force teams are conducting search operations in the area. Quoting security sources, it is being told that a suicide bomber blew himself up at the gate of FC Headquarters. Immediately after this blast, sounds of firing were heard. Security sources say that the terrorists have been killed in this attack, while the security forces have surrounded the area and intensified the search operation. Information about how many people died or how many people were injured in this attack and whether there was any major damage has not been given at this time.
