Australian PM Albanese got married, created a unique record!

Canberra. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese marries Jodie Hayden. He himself confirmed this through a social media post. Both were in a relationship for many years. The announcement also marked another historic milestone, marking the first time that a sitting Australian Prime Minister has married during his tenure. According to reports, the wedding was only attended by family and a few close friends, including Albanese’s son Nathan and Hayden’s parents Bill and Pauline. After the marriage, both of them issued a joint statement. Said, “We are very happy to pledge to spend our future together, surrounded by our family and close friends.”
The couple were married by a celebrant on the NSW Central Coast and wrote their own vows. Hayden was walked down the wedding aisle by her parents to the song “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds.
As per tradition, Hayden’s five-year-old niece Ella arrived with the flowers, while the Prime Minister’s pet Toto carried the ring to the wedding venue, ABC.net.au reported. Albanese proposed to Hayden on the balcony of the lodge on Valentine’s Day in February 2024 after dinner at a renowned restaurant in Canberra. He had a special ring designed for this occasion.
