The effect of the cyclone is also visible on transport services. Chennai airport had to cancel 47 flights on Sunday, including 36 domestic and 11 international flights. Similarly, Railways has also canceled many trains in view of security. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, while reviewing the preparations, has instructed all zones and divisions to remain alert and keep the war room active.
