Big action by NIA in Red Fort car blast case, rapid raids in three districts of Kashmir Valley

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has carried out a major action on Monday (December 1, 2025) in connection with the white-collar terror module. NIA has conducted raids at several locations in Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam districts of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the first major operation of the NIA investigating the car blast outside the Red Fort in Delhi, because till now most of the investigation of the blast case in Kashmir has been done by Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Regarding this action, officials said that these raids are being conducted on the locations associated with Maulvi Irfan, Dr. Adeel Rather, Dr. Muzammil, Jasir Wani and Aamir Rashid, who are part of the white-collar terror module linked to the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. He also said that these raids were conducted as part of the ongoing investigation registered under RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.

NIA teams searched the house of Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wage in Shopian, who has emerged as the main mastermind behind the radicalization and recruitment of the white-collar terror module captured early last month. Wage was arrested by the police in October and later taken into the custody of the National Investigation Agency last month after the agency took over the investigation into the car blast in which 15 people were killed and several others were injured.
