Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh Government has taken a major decision towards establishing Ayodhya as a global cultural and spiritual centre. In the State Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the scope of the proposed world-class ‘Temple Museum’ in collaboration with ‘Tata Sons’ has been further expanded. Giving information about this decision, State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that this step will give Ayodhya a new cultural identity symbol and employment will be generated on a large scale.
He told that this project was proposed on 25 acres of Nazul land in Manjha Jamthara village of Ayodhya. But keeping in mind the grandeur and world-class nature of the museum, Tata Sons had expected more land. Now a total of 52.102 acres of land will be allotted for the project. This includes 25 acres of previously Nazul land.
Apart from this, 27.102 acres of land has been added. This total land of 52.102 acres will be transferred free of cost from the Housing and Urban Planning Department in favor of the Tourism Department, so that the project can be given a larger shape. The land will be made available to Tata Sons for 90 years.
