The troubles of Ranveer’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ are over, the censor board took a big decision.

Dhurandhar Big relief news has come for the makers of Ranveer Singh’s multi-starrer action entertainer ‘Dhurandhar’. The Central Board of Film Certification says that there is no need to send ‘Dhurandhar’ to the army. The board says that this film is not connected with Major Mohit Sharma in any way, directly or indirectly. The Censor Board has made it clear that ‘Dhurandhar’ is completely a work of fiction.

It was being claimed in many reports that Ranveer Singh’s character in ‘Dhurandhar’ directed by Aditya Dhar is based on late Major Mohit Sharma. After this, Major’s parents filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding a ban on the release of the film. A hearing on this matter was held in the Delhi High Court on Monday and the court had said that the Censor Board should decide whether to send the film to the Army or not.

Censor certificate has not been received yet

During the hearing of this case, the court had also said that the petitioners are the parents of Major Mohit Sharma, hence the matter should be taken seriously. The court had advised the Censor Board to keep in mind the concerns of the parents. However, just a day later, the Film Certification Board has made it clear that there is no link between Major Mohit Sharma and ‘Dhurandhar’. However, the board has not yet given the censor certificate to the film. The board has said that the certification work will continue as per the guidelines.

Who all in Dhurandhar?

Dhurandhar has been directed and written by Aditya Dhar. Aditya is also its producer. Apart from Ranveer Singh, an army of powerful actors like Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Akshay Khanna are going to be seen in the film. Sara Arjun will be seen as the female lead in this. There was a lot of buzz about Dhurandhar ever since the first look video came out. After watching the trailer, fans are eagerly waiting for it. The film is set to release in theaters on December 5.
