
Washington. US President Donald Trump’s physician said the President underwent an MRI scan of his heart and abdomen as a precaution in October, the results of which were “completely normal”. This information has been given by the doctor issued by the White House, the official residence and office of the US President. Dr. Shawn Barbabella said Trump’s physical examination included ‘advanced imaging,’ which is part of the standard physical examination for individuals in Trump’s age group.
Dr. Barbabella said imaging of the heart and abdomen were “perfect.” “This test is done preventively to identify problems early, determine overall health status, and preserve long-term vitality and function,” the doctor wrote. The White House released Barbabella’s memo after Trump announced the results of the scan on Sunday.
Earlier, the White House had refused to explain why the MRI was done during a physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in October. Republican Party President Trump said that the results of the MRI were completely fine. He had said that if anyone wanted, then they could release the report, however he said that he had no idea on which part of the body the MRI was done but said that it was not of the brain as he had passed a cognitive test.
