Jacqueline Fernandez played the character named Priya in this 14 year old film. Emraan Hashmi was seen opposite him. Imran played the role named Arjun. Artists like Prashant Narayan, Sulagna Panigrahi, Yana Gupta, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sandeep Sikand and Bikramjit Kanwarpal also worked in the film.

Murder 2 was directed by director Mohit Suri, who gave blockbuster films like ‘Sayara’. Its producer was Mukesh Bhatt. The makers had spent Rs 13 crores in making Murder 2. The film had earned Rs 48 crore at the Indian box office. It proved to be a superhit, collecting Rs 68 crore worldwide.
