Jind. Professors of the English department of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University in Jind, Haryana have been accused of sexual harassment of girl students. A student disclosed this matter through WhatsApp chat. It is alleged that the professor used to put pressure on a student and talk obscenely on WhatsApp. In the chat, comments were also made about the beauty and clothes of the student. She was asked – Are you a virgin? After this, 3 professors of the department have been suspended. The Vice Chancellor of the University has constituted an Internal Inquiry Committee and ordered an investigation into the matter. He said that if the allegations are found true then these professors will not get jobs anywhere in the country.
