Ruckus over bail to Kuldeep Sengar, case reaches Supreme Court against High Court’s decision

Unnao Rape Case : Once again in the headlines. After the main accused and former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar got bail from the Delhi High Court, the matter has now reached the Supreme Court. Anjale Patel and Pooja Shilpakar have filed a petition in the apex court challenging the decision of Delhi High Court. The petitioners say that suspending the sentence of the lower court by the High Court is against the basic principles of justice.

During the hearing, Delhi High Court had granted bail to Kuldeep Sengar, staying the life sentence awarded by the lower court. After this, resentment was seen among the victim side and social organizations. The special thing is that both the lawyers who filed the petition in the Supreme Court are not direct parties to this case, although the original parties to the case have also indicated to challenge the decision of the High Court.

Meanwhile, the victim has clearly said that she is not going to back down against this decision. The victim says that she will not remain silent until the bail of Kuldeep Sengar is cancelled. Expressing confidence in the justice system, he said that he expects justice from the Supreme Court.

Unnao Rape Case Political reactions regarding this have also intensified. Congress leader Udit Raj said that the victim wants to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Raising questions, he said that if the case had been presented properly, such a decision would not have come from the High Court. This entire incident has once again sparked a debate regarding the justice system, sensitivity and rights of the victims.
