
Rayagada. Four students suffered serious burn injuries in a fire caused by paint thinner at a school in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Monday. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital, where their condition remains critical. According to the police, Binod, son of a peon of Paika Dakulaguda High School in Muniguda block, had taken four young students to the roof of the school. Where Binod started showing everyone the fire with paint thinner, which later went out of control and the students got burnt. After getting information about the incident, the school management informed the police. After this the police reached the spot and started investigation. Rayagada Superintendent of Police Swathi S Kumar said that Binod wanted to show them how thinner catches fire. First he added some thinner and set it on fire. After this, everyone started pouring thinner and setting it on fire. Meanwhile, the fire spread rapidly, due to which the students got burnt.
