Gir Somnath On the first day of Somnath Swabhiman festival, a grand and divine cultural program was organized in the Somnath Mahadev temple complex. On this occasion, many distinguished guests including Spokesperson Minister Jitu Vaghani, Dr. Pradyuman Waja and Kaushik Vekaria registered their presence.
In the cultural program, famous artists of Gujarat Kirtidan Gadhvi, Jigardan Gadhvi and Umesh Barot combined Indian culture, heritage and Sanatan Dharma in the melodious waves of music through the worship and bhajans of Somnath Mahadev. The presentation of songs filled with devotion to Shiva made the entire atmosphere devotional. The spectators present were mesmerized and absorbed in the devotion of Lord Shiva and danced to the tunes of the music. The audience also encouraged the artists with applause and joined in the devotional songs.
Sairam Dave, through literary presentation, gave an impressive statement on the establishment of Somnath Mahadev, foreign invasions, our brave warriors and the Somnath temple that is still standing firm and our historical heritage. The melodious music, the brightly lit temple complex and the supernatural Somnath Jyotirlinga temple which does not fill the heart even after looking at it continuously – the confluence of these three has created a divine atmosphere. Along with Shiva devotional songs, the artists also gave a spectacular presentation of Garba.
On this occasion, MP Rajesh Chudasama, MLA Bhagwanbhai Barad, former MP Mohan Kundaria, Secretary Alok Pandey, T. Nagarajan, Dilip Rana, Somnath Collector I.A. Many distinguished guests including Upadhyay were present.
