Horrific road accident in Rajasthan, truck and car collide, 6 women killed, three seriously injured

Sikar. A tragic road accident that took place on Wednesday in Sikar district of Rajasthan plunged the entire Fatehpur town and surrounding rural areas into mourning. There was a massive collision between a car and a truck on National Highway-52 near Harsawa village of Fatehpur subdivision area, in which 6 women residents of Fatehpur died on the spot, while 3 people were seriously injured. The accident was so severe that the car was completely destroyed. With the help of police and ambulance, local people took the injured out of the car and took them to the hospital.

Police Station Officer Surendra Degra said that the women who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Santosh wife Satyanarayan Mali, Tulsi Devi wife Lalit, Mohan Devi wife Mahesh, Indra daughter Mahesh, Asha wife Murari and Chanda wife Surendra. All the women were residents of Fatehpur area and were returning by car from Raghunathpur to Laxmangarh after attending a meeting. Meanwhile, a car collided with a speeding truck on NH-52 near Harsawa village.

Three seriously injured, referred to Sikar
Three people have been seriously injured in this accident, who have been identified as Washim son of Manir Khan, Sonu daughter of Surendra and Barkha wife of Omprakash. Immediately after the accident, with the help of local people and police, the injured were taken to the Government Upazila Hospital of Fatehpur through ambulance, where after first aid, seeing their critical condition, the doctors referred them to Sikar.

After the accident, there was jam on the highway, police took charge
After the accident, there was a long queue of vehicles on Highway-52 for about half an hour and traffic was affected. As soon as the information was received, Fatehpur police reached the spot and removed the truck and car from the road and made the traffic smooth. The bodies of the deceased were kept in the mortuary of the Government Upazila Hospital of Fatehpur, where the post-mortem is likely to be conducted on Monday morning.
