New Delhi. Nitin Naveen has taken rash decisions on the very first day of assuming the post of National President of BJP. He has appointed senior leader Vinod Tawde as election in-charge for Kerala Assembly Elections and observer for Chandigarh Mayor elections. Along with him, Shobha Karandlaje has been made co-in-charge. Let us tell you that a formal announcement of his becoming the national president has been made on Tuesday itself. However, only after being made the working president, it was decided that Nitin Naveen was going to completely take over the command of BJP.
In the order issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, it has been said that for Telangana city and local body elections, Ashish Shelar has been given the responsibility of election in-charge and Ashok Parnami and Rekha Sharma have been given the responsibility of co-in-charge. Apart from this, senior leader Ram Madhav has been appointed in-charge of Greater Bengaluru civic elections. Along with him, Satish Punia and Sanjay Upadhyay have been given the responsibility of co-in-charge.
call of youth
Naveen addressed a program at the BJP headquarters after announcing his name as the 12th national president of the party. He also called upon party leaders and workers to make every possible effort to ensure BJP’s success in the assembly elections to be held in five states, including West Bengal, protect “Sanatan traditions and faith” and save the country from demographic changes.
He said, “On August 15, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called upon the youth of the country to enter public life. I want to tell the youth of the country that staying away from politics is not the solution, but making active contribution is the solution.” Naveen said that to fulfill Prime Minister Modi’s resolve to make India a developed country, the youth need to come forward and participate in “positive politics”.
He said, “I would also like to tell the youth that there are no shortcuts in politics. Politics is not a hundred meter race but a marathon, where the test is not speed but stamina. Come forward and work on this political field while keeping your roots strong.”
