Worship method of Basant Panchami:
On the day of Basant Panchami, take bath in the morning and wear clean yellow or light colored clothes. Keep an idol or picture of Mother Saraswati in the temple or clean place of the house. Spread a yellow cloth on a post and install Maa Saraswati on it. First of all, light the lamp and start the puja. Offer yellow flowers to the mother and offer turmeric, intact. After this, keep the pen, copy, book or musical instrument (if any) with the mother. Light incense sticks and meditate on Goddess Saraswati and chant her mantra or simple prayer. After the puja, offer yellow sweets like gram flour laddu, boondi, kheer or malpua.
