Parliament: There was a heated debate in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday between Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda. Kharge raised the question in the Rajya Sabha that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha. On hearing this, JP Nadda objected and said that you cannot talk about the second house here. Not only this, Nadda even pointed towards Rahul Gandhi and said that you should not make your party hostage to an innocent child.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Parliament means Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The opposition leaders in the Lok Sabha wanted to speak on the interests of the country but they were not allowed to speak. How can you run the House like this? To hide its mistakes, the government is not allowing a House to function, it has paralyzed it.” Union Minister JP Nadda said in the Rajya Sabha, “The leader of the opposition should know that the proceedings of the Lok Sabha cannot be discussed in the Rajya Sabha.” After this there was a heated debate between the two leaders.
What should JP Nadda say to Rahul Gandhi?
On Mallikarjun Kharge’s question, JP Nadda targeted Rahul Gandhi without naming him and said that you should not make your party hostage to an innocent child. Run the party independently. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to answer them. But you did not allow the House to function. Congress party should avoid arrogance.
Rahul Gandhi does not follow rules: Kiren Rijiju
During this, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, while answering the questions of Mallikarjun Khadke, said that Rahul Gandhi was given the opportunity to speak several times. The House will run by rules and they do not follow the rules. Rijiju said, “Today we all hope that all the MPs will follow the rules and traditions of the House. All the MPs are waiting to hear the Prime Minister’s speech today.”
