Speaker Om Birla’s big statement, unexpected incident could have happened with PM

There was a huge uproar in the Lok Sabha during the budget session of the Parliament. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed strong displeasure over the obnoxious and intemperate behavior of the MPs. He said in the House that due to the kind of conduct that was seen, any unexpected incident could have happened to the Prime Minister. Speaker Om Birla said in clear words that Parliament is the most sacred forum of democracy and this kind of behavior here is not only unacceptable, but also hurts the dignity of the country. He appealed to all the MPs to exercise restraint and follow parliamentary decorum. Lok Sabha adjourned due to uproar. Due to continuous sloganeering and disruption, Lok Sabha proceedings had to be adjourned till 3 pm. Despite all efforts to maintain order in the House, the situation could not be brought under control.
