PM Modi’s statement on Lok Sabha uproar, calling throwing of papers an insult to Assam

Amid increasing pressure on Europe’s automobile sector, two giant companies have openly sought help from the European Union. Volkswagen AG (Volkswagen AG) and Stellantis NV (Stellantis NV) say that geopolitical tensions and tough competition from Chinese companies have put the European auto industry in difficult times.

The Prime Minister said, “Congress has insulted the President in the past. The way words were spoken about our President after the elections. I feel embarrassed as to what kind of people these are. What are these people saying about the President of India? Even in the Lok Sabha yesterday, the President’s address could not be discussed. This is a grave insult to the post of President. He has no right to speak the word Constitution. You have insulted a woman from a poor tribal family. You have insulted the Constitution.”

Congress hates the people of Assam

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the uproar in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday in the Rajya Sabha. He said that one of our MPs was sitting on the seat when the papers were thrown. Is this not an insult to North-East-Assam? The son of a Dalit family from Andhra was sitting there. That means you insulted the son of North-East and insulted the son of Andhra. They come from Dalit community, that is why you insult them. It seems that Congress people hate the people of Assam. They feel that the people of Assam have abandoned them and hence they have become their enemies. I feel sad that they do not even care about Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika. We are fortunate that his contribution to the country, combined with his speech and thoughts from the North-East, we decided to give him Bharat Ratna. But they have problems with them too.
