Kamal Amrohi and Meena Kumari
‘Come on dear, let’s go across the moon…’
While filming this song of the film ‘Pakeezah’, Kamal Amrohi would never have thought that one day he would have to find Meena in that moon itself. In 1938, Kamal was looking for a child artist for his film ‘Jailor’. At that time Kamal and Meena met for the first time. Then after many years Ashok Kumar introduced both of them. Kamal offered his film ‘Anarkali’ to Meena Kumari. The film could not be made but the love story between the two started. Even before the shooting started, Meena Kumari met with an accident and was admitted to a hospital in Pune. When Kamal came to know about this, he started visiting Meena every day and taking care of her. Meena, who was unlucky in love matters since childhood, developed a love for Kamal. Kamal was already married, yet a year later, on 14 February 1952, 18 year old Meena and 32 year old Kamal got married secretly. After marriage, things went well for a few days but after that, fights started between the two. Kamal started a scuffle with Meena. At many events, many celebs even saw injury marks on Meena’s face. After marriage, Kamal allowed Meena to work but imposed many restrictions on her. The situation reached such a stage that one day Meena Kumar asked for divorce and placed a condition that she would complete the amazing film ‘Pakeezah’ only after he divorced her. Kamal freed Meena but after this Meena became more broken. When she became a victim of loneliness and depression, she chose alcohol as her companion. Insomnia brought her closer to alcohol due to which Meena developed liver cirrhosis. During the shooting of ‘Pakeezah’, Meena came to know that she did not have much time left. Meena completed the amazing film. The film was released on 4 February 1972 and broke many records of box office success. During Meena’s last moments, Kamal wanted to marry her again but it could not happen. A month after the release of the film, on March 31, Meena said goodbye to this world.
Sanjeev Kumar and Sulakshana Pandit
‘It is not necessary that he also loves us…’
Story of one sided love… Story of Sulakshana Pandit. An actress who proved even in her last moments that even one-sided love is love. Singer and actress Sulakshana first met Sanjeev on the sets of a film. Sulakshana liked Sanjeev’s simplicity and serious nature. But at that time, Sanjeev’s ‘dream girl’ Hema Malini was in his heart, who liked Dharmendra. The desires of both Sanjeev and Sulakshana remained unfulfilled. Due to the grief of not getting Hema, Sanjeev becomes a victim of depression. In this grief, Sulakshana came close to him but Sanjeev had accepted Hema as his last love. He could not accept Sulakshana. Due to the passion of her love, the actress also never married. Sanjeev Kumar said goodbye to the world on 6 November 1985 and on the same date in 2025, Sulakshana also said goodbye to the world.

Smita Patil, the actress of Hindi cinema who made her mark not in commercial but in classic films. Smita, who usually looks serious, took a turn in love when she met Raj Babbar on the sets of ‘Bheegi Palken’. But everything was not so easy. Raj was already married to Nadira Babbar. Despite this, both of them decided to live together and entered into a live-in relationship. This relationship was criticized a lot in the society and industry. But both had taken their decisions. Walking on this path, no one knew when the friendship of Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaz Gill turned into love. Both of them participated in the 13th season of Bigg Boss in the year 2019-20. At that time Shehnaz Jahan was a big name in the Punjabi industry. Siddharth Shukla also had a good fan base. While Siddharth liked Shehnaaz’s innocence during the show, Shehnaaz liked the caring behavior of the actor. Both of them strongly supported each other throughout the show. In the end Siddharth came out as the winner of this show. Siddharth and Shehnaaz remained together even after Bigg Boss ended in February 2020. However, this beautiful journey did not last long. No one had ever thought that Siddharth would leave Shehnaz so soon and go on an unknown journey. On September 2, 2021, at the age of just 40, the actor suffered a heart attack and died in Shehnaz’s arms. It took many years for Shehnaz to recover from this grief, but even today the sorrow of losing her Sid is clearly visible in Shehnaz’s eyes.
