Murshidabad. The construction work of Babri Masjid has started in Beldanga, Murshidabad, West Bengal. The foundation of this mosque has been laid under the leadership of suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir. Even today thousands of people reached the construction site carrying bricks on their heads. Before the construction of the mosque, Humayun Kabir read the Quran with the people. The mosque to be built on 11 bighas of land is said to be ready in 2 years.
The video that surfaced from the mosque construction site showed a glimpse of the large-scale activities taking place. A crowd of thousands has gathered and the work of removing soil for the foundation is going on using JCB machines. On one hand, the technical team is busy in measuring and accurate marking of the land, while on the other hand, a large number of workers are busy in delivering cement and sand.
Jan Unnayan Party Chief Humayun Kabir claims that the construction work of the mosque will be completed in two years. He said, “I am very happy. I thank God. Today so many people are standing with me, I thank all of them too. Let others oppose me. In the next two years, I hope the structure of Babri Masjid will be completed. It is fine to build a temple, but if a Muslim wants to build a mosque, they are opposing it. We will oust them from power.”
