The party said that no member of the Congress takes Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi seriously and does not even consider him as their leader. The partners of the India alliance, be it Trinamool Congress, SP, Supriya Sule or Omar Abdullah, all are keeping distance from Rahul Gandhi.
Remove Rahul, bring Mamta
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala has reportedly raised the slogan not only of Mani Shankar Aiyar but also of Trinamool Congress in Bengal – remove Rahul, bring Mamata, save India block. Now former Assam state president Bhupen Bora has also left the party.
Record of losing 95 elections
Poonawala said that one thing is clear from this that no one has faith in Rahul Gandhi. He has lost a record 95 elections. He has no mandate. His allies, be it Trinamool Congress or Samajwadi Party, Supriya Sule or Omar Abdullah or Hemant Soren, all are keeping distance from Rahul Gandhi. He is becoming a burden for the India block. This is the reason why no one has faith in him. Wherever he goes, he loses elections.
