Actor Prabhas is known for his strong acting. Apart from acting, he is very fond of food and drink. Actually, Prabhas is of very shy nature. But, when food is discussed with him in an interview, he speaks openly on it. Recently, Santosh Shobhan and Manasa Varanasi spoke to Prabhas during the promotion of their latest release ‘Couple Friendly’. During this, the Baahubali actor shared an interesting anecdote.
Shooting in Mumbai and food brought from Chennai
Actually, during the conversation, Prabhas told that he orders food from other states on his cheat days. Santosh asked Prabhas if it is true that whenever he feels like it, he also orders food from other states. Prabhas also gave an example confirming this. He happily said, ‘When I was shooting for ‘Adipurush’ in Mumbai, that was my cheat meal day. I was with Om Raut. I told him that not Mumbai, I would order special food from somewhere else and feed him. I said that I am ordering food from Chennai.
Om Raut was surprised to hear Prabhas’ words
Prabhas further said, ‘They kept waiting for food and it was taking hours. I wasn’t letting them eat anything else’. When Om Rouse asked Prabhas about the long wait, he was told that the food was actually being brought from Chennai. Not from any restaurant in Mumbai. The actor said laughingly, ‘They were surprised. They thought that I was ordering food for them from some restaurant in Mumbai. I explained to them that someone was bringing hot food in a carriage (lunchbox) for us on the flight from Chennai. Om said, ‘I have never seen anyone like you in my life. That person boarded the carriage flight. Smelled of spices and still brought us hot food’.
People ask- ‘From which state are you ordering food?’
Prabhas also told why he orders food from other places? He said, ‘We get food in Hyderabad, but it does not have that authenticity. Whenever I have cheat days, people joke about which state my food will come from. Talking about Prabhas’ work front, recently he was seen in the horror comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’, which was released on Makar Sankranti. However, it did not perform well at the box office.
