Of this, about 60 MMSCMD gas comes from Qatar. India is now also looking for other markets to buy gas.

Government is also in talks with oil producing countries

The government is also in talks with major oil producing countries and traders to ensure the supply of crude oil and LPG. Sources said that India is also in talks with the International Energy Agency and OPEC on energy related issues. Apart from this, India is also discussing with America regarding insurance of ships. The government is reviewing the energy situation twice a day, so that there is no problem regarding supply and security.
