Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today narrowly escaped becoming a victim of a major accident. Shortly after taking off from Lucknow for Kaushambi, his helicopter suffered a serious technical fault. Due to this, the helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Amausi Airport in the capital. According to the information, the Deputy Chief Minister had left for Kaushambi from La Marts ground in Lucknow. A few minutes after take off, smoke suddenly started filling the helicopter cabin and the display went off.
Complete security arrangements at the time of emergency landing
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the pilot immediately contacted Lucknow ATC and sought permission for emergency landing at Amausi airport. At the time of emergency landing, tight security arrangements were made at Amausi Airport. As soon as the helicopter landed, the security and technical teams took it home and started investigation. Everyone including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was evacuated safely. In the preliminary investigation, it is being said to be a technical fault, which is being investigated in detail by a team of technical experts.
Left for Kaushambi by road
State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is going to visit Kaushambi today i.e. on March 7. However, due to a malfunction in the helicopter, he is reaching there by road only. He will inaugurate the two-day Saras Mahotsav program organized at Babu Singh Degree College Ground, Sayara in Kaushambi today. The objective of this festival is to promote rural livelihood and women empowerment.
