Where President Donald Trump has announced that the East Wing of the White House will be demolished and a new, grand Presidential Ballroom will be built there. He said that this project is completely privately funded and it will not put any burden on American taxpayers. Trump gave this information by posting it on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’. He said that this ballroom will be used for state visits, big events and official programs and will be useful for future generations.
Trump said that for 150 years every president has dreamed of having a ballroom in the White House. I am proud to be the first President to launch this much-awaited project. Let us tell you that the size of this new ballroom will be approximately 90,000 square feet and its estimated cost is 200 million US dollars (about Rs 1,660 crore). It’s part of Trump’s long-standing desire to create a modern and luxurious event space at the White House that looks as grand as his private clubs.
