
Mumbai: Director Abhinav Kashyap is continuously targeting the Khan family. Recently, he had created a sensation by making many allegations against Salman Khan. Now once again he has commented on the Khan family. This time he has targeted Arbaaz Khan. Abhinav claims that Arbaaz Khan did not agree that Malaika Arora should do the song ‘Munni Badnaam’.
Said- ‘I tried hard to get Malaika in the song’
Abhinav Kashyap while talking to Bollywood Thikana said, ‘He was uncomfortable with Malaika’s performance in the song. They were afraid that it would sound vulgar, as it was a raunchy item song. But I had assured her that Malaika, like her step-mother-in-law Helen, had made her mark in item songs. I tried hard to get her in the song, but Arbaaz Khan wanted to stop her from doing so.
There was a difference of opinion with Salman Khan on his attire.
Earlier, Abhinav Kashyap had revealed in an interview with Screen that Arbaaz was initially not comfortable with this iconic item song of Malaika Arora. He did not want his wife to be called an ‘item girl’. Let us tell you that till then Malaika and Arbaaz Khan had not divorced. This song is from the movie ‘Dabangg’. Abhinav also said that despite their cool images, Arbaaz and Salman come from a conservative Muslim family and Malaika had differences with Salman over his dressing style, as he liked women to dress modestly.

Abhinav further said that Malaika is a strong and independent woman, who makes her own choices. She agreed to do the song, but it took a long time to convince Arbaaz. He convinced Arbaaz that it was a good family dance number and it turned out to be a huge hit. Let us tell you that Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora got divorced in the year 2017. After divorce from Malaika, Arbaaz has married Shura Khan for the second time. Recently Arbaaz and Shura have welcomed a baby girl.
