Accident on Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Noida, more than 15 vehicles collided with each other; many people injured

Noida. A major road accident occurred due to dense fog on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Greater Noida. Due to low visibility, more than a dozen vehicles collided with each other. Many people were slightly injured in this incident and about a dozen vehicles were damaged. This accident happened at around 9 am on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway near Chakrasenpur village of Dadri police station area.

It is being told that first a truck collided with a car, after which about 15 to 20 vehicles coming from behind collided with each other. More than a dozen vehicles were damaged in this multi-vehicle collision. 8 to 10 people suffered minor injuries in the accident, but no one was seriously injured and there was no loss of life. Many people left the spot with their vehicles.

After the accident, there was a huge traffic jam on the peripheral. As soon as the information was received, the police and toll management team reached the spot. They started removing the damaged vehicles with the help of cranes and tried to normalize the traffic. Mintu of Chakrasenpur village said that as soon as the accident happened in the morning, the people of his village reached the peripheral and made noise and helped in controlling other vehicles. He confirmed that multiple vehicles had collided.

According to the police, there was no casualty in the accident. Officials said visibility was very low due to dense fog, due to which the vehicles collided with each other. The work of removing damaged vehicles is going on.
