Akhilesh Yadav On Aravali: Politics has intensified on the issue. Following the instructions of the Supreme Court, the committee of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has suggested a new definition for the Aravalli mountain range. According to the committee, the hills whose height is 100 meters or more should be considered as Aravalli Mountains. After this definition came to the fore, a debate broke out across the country. While one section is calling it practical, the other section has come out against it.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has made a strong appeal to save Aravali. He wrote on social media platform X, “If Aravali remains, Delhi remains green.” Akhilesh clearly said that saving Aravali should not be an option but a collective resolution. According to him, the Aravalli ranges are like a natural protective shield for Delhi and NCR.

Akhilesh Yadav On Aravali In the statement, he said that Aravali not only reduces air pollution but also plays an important role in rainfall, water conservation and temperature control. He described it as necessary for the conservation of biodiversity, wetlands and birds of Delhi-NCR. Besides, he also termed Aravali as a part of the cultural and historical heritage of the region.

Akhilesh Yadav warned that if Aravali is not conserved, Delhi will never be able to get out of smog, pollution and health crisis. This will have a direct impact on the elderly, children, sick and the economy here. He said that in such a situation Delhi may also lose its national and international identity.

In the end, he appealed to all the citizens, businessmen, students and families to join the ‘Save Aravali’ campaign, so that Delhi-NCR can be made safe and livable for the coming generations.
