Assam Rifles deployed in Badrinath Dham, doors will be closed on 25th November

After the bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, security agencies across the country have been alerted. In Uttarakhand also, the state government has issued a high alert for all the districts. Especially in view of the crowd of devotees in Badrinath Dham, security has been further tightened. Now the Assam Rifles team has also been deployed here.

The doors of three Dhams among the four Dhams of Uttarakhand have been closed. At present only Badrinath Dham is open for devotees. A large number of pilgrims are coming here every day for darshan. In view of the increasing crowd, deployment and patrolling of security forces has been increased. The police have started a thorough investigation of vehicles traveling to and from Badrinath area. According to Chamoli SP Surjeet Singh Panwar, Bomb Squad and Door Frame Metal Detector Team have been deployed to tighten the security arrangements of Badrinath Dham. Apart from this, a 7-member special team has reached Badrinath. The doors of the Dham will be closed on 25th November. Because of this, the number of devotees remains there.

A large number of devotees are coming here for darshan. Police and administration have deployed additional forces to avoid any mistake. Apart from Badrinath, a 24-hour intensive checking campaign is being conducted in all the major cities including Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital. Along with this, vigil has also been increased on international and interstate borders. Police teams are keeping an eye on every suspicious activity.
