New Delhi. Taking aim at the recent comments of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former CM Arvind Kejriwal, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala accused him of betraying Delhi and not fulfilling the promises made in Punjab. BJP national spokesperson Poonawalla alleged that the AAP government ruined Delhi during its tenure and questioned Kejriwal’s right to comment on the developments in Delhi in the last one year.
BJP spokesperson Poonawala said that it was he who built a bar instead of a school. Had promised to live in a house with two rooms and kitchen, but using VVIP facilities, got Sheesh Mahal built. They did corruption and scams in every department, and after ruining Delhi, they are now going to ruin Punjab. He has no right to speak on whatever has happened in Delhi in the last one year.
He targeted AAP’s rule in Punjab and raised questions on the implementation of election promises made to the people of the state. He said that as per your promise, how many women have received thousand rupees? How many unemployed people have received unemployment allowance as promised by you? How many farmers have received MSP (Minimum Support Price) for the crops on which you had promised them? How many times have you (you) caught the drug dealers whom you were promising to eliminate within seven days of forming the government? After betraying Delhi, you are also betraying Punjab and you have no right to preach to the people of Delhi.
