BJP demands cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s MP membership, presents original proposal

New Delhi. The BJP on Thursday hit back at opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, saying he attacked the government by making false allegations over the trade deal with the US. He moved an original motion against the Congress leader in the Lok Sabha. This motion is a tool in the legislative body to discuss and decide on whether a motion is accepted. The decision is taken through votes. Any member can present this proposal. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said that he has stated in the notice that Rahul Gandhi is associated with Soros Foundation, Ford Foundation and SAID and has traveled to countries like Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and the US to indulge in anti-India activities.
In his notice, the BJP MP said that the Leader of the Opposition with the help of foreign organizations has very cleverly taken over the most sacred platform of the Parliament to inflame the sentiments of the people, has made baseless allegations against not only the Election Commission of India but also our honorable Supreme Court, has tarnished the reputation of the government without any solid evidence and has shown many other institutions in a bad light. He also alleged that Rahul has entered into a world of wrongdoings and has become a big part of the ‘thug gang destabilizing India from within’. He further said that his persistent and deliberate actions inside and outside the Parliament are detrimental to our country, which is a serious issue of discussion in every corner of the country. He said in his notice that if I, as a responsible public representative – even if I have little influence and humble background – do not bring this matter to your attention, then I will not be able to do justice to my constitutional responsibility of maintaining the unity, integrity and sovereignty of my country. In view of this, I would like to bring to your attention the following four serious actions.
