Meerut. Bulldozers were used extensively in Meerut on Sunday also. Illegal complex built at 661/6 of Central Market was demolished. 10% of the illegal complex built at 661/6 of Central Market is left. This remaining part is connected to the surrounding houses and shops.
The incident took place on October 24, when a program of singer Shehnaaz Akhtar was organized in a school in the city. Lady constable Anju was assigned duty here. During the programme, he used indecent and obscene words against Brahmins. After the video surfaced, this matter started growing rapidly and questions were also raised on the image of the police department. Organizations of Brahmin community had raised questions on social media regarding the conduct of the woman constable and demanded immediate action from the Superintendent of Police of Sidhi.
