Goa: After the nightclub fire in Goa, the government has come into action. On Tuesday, a part of Romeo Lane Night Club located in Vagator area was demolished with a bulldozer. There was a fire in the night club on December 7 in which 25 people died tragically while many people were badly burnt.
The night club on which the bulldozer ran is owned by Luthra Brothers. Immediately after the incident, Luthra Brothers fled the country to Thailand. At present, a look out notice has been issued by the investigating agencies regarding Luthra brothers and the process of bringing them from Thailand has also started.
After the accident, swift action is being taken against Luthra Brothers. Goa Authority has sealed 2 more clubs of Luthra Brothers located in Goa. The name of one of the two clubs which have been sealed is Caha by Romeo Lane at Anjuna Club. Kaha Club is also a famous food joint of Anjuna Beach. Along with this, Saurav Luthra’s Romeo Lane Club in Vagator has also been sealed. This bulldozer action has taken place on the club of Vagator.
On the other hand, Goa Police has approached CBI to issue Interpol Blue Notice against club owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra. Goa Police said that this incident took place on Saturday at Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora and it is believed that its owners Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra fled to Phuket, Thailand a few hours after the incident.
An Interpol Blue Notice is issued to collect additional information about a person’s identity, location or activities in connection with a criminal investigation. It is being told that after the request of Goa Police, Interpol is in touch to trace the fugitives. Red notices, which provide for the detention of fugitives, can be issued only after the charge sheet is filed and a non-bailable warrant is issued against the wanted person.
