Dausa: Late Tuesday night, five people traveling in a car died tragically in a horrific road accident on National Highway-21 in the district, while a young man was seriously injured. The accident happened near Kailai village of Sikandra police station area, where the speeding car went out of control and hit the divider and jumped into the other lane. At the same time, the car collided strongly with the trailer coming from the front, due to which the vehicle was blown to pieces and the people in it were badly trapped.
One injured referred to Jaipur: According to the police, all the people in the car were residents of Kalakho village and were returning after attending a wedding ceremony. The collision was so severe that 4 people died on the spot, while one more died later. Dr. Vinod Meena, doctor of Dausa District Hospital, said that two injured were brought to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Of these, a youth named Naveen was referred to Jaipur when his condition became serious, while the other youth died during treatment.
All five deceased identified: The deceased in the accident have been identified as Lokesh son of Govardhan Yogi, Dilkhush son of Banwari Lal Yogi, Manish son of Harimohan Yogi, Ankit son of Lalram Bairwa and Samaysingh son of Ramsingh Yogi, all of whom are said to be residents of Kalakho village. All the bodies have been kept in the mortuaries of different hospitals for post-mortem. Four bodies were sent to Sikandra Hospital, one body to Jaipur and one body to Dausa District Hospital.
As soon as the information was received, Sikandra police station and rescue team reached the spot and started relief work. It took a lot of effort to take out the bodies trapped in the damaged car. As soon as the news of the accident reached the families of the deceased, a wave of mourning ran in Kalakho village and there was chaos among the families. Police have registered the case and started investigating the cause of the accident. In the initial investigation, high speed and loss of control of the vehicle are being considered as the main reasons for the accident.
