Ratlam. A speeding car collided with a trolley from behind on the Delhi-Mumbai 8 lane expressway passing through Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. Four people including husband, wife and two children traveling in the car were injured in the accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The family was going from Surat in Gujarat to Noida to attend a wedding ceremony.
According to media reports, the accident happened at around 9 am on Saturday morning in Shivgarh police station area of Ratlam district. An Ertiga car coming from behind rammed into a trolley moving ahead near the Jaman river at Kajaliya Pada. The collision was so severe that the entire front of the car was completely damaged. The lives of the car passengers were saved because of the air bag. In the picture that appeared, blood marks were also seen on the air bag. A silk cloth merchant from Surat was traveling in the car along with his family. The injured have been identified as Sahil Kumar (38), wife Svenka (35), son Shanay (15) and younger son Shayan (4).
