Tamil Nadu: A sensational incident has come to light in Tiruvallur district near Chennai. Tiruttani Railway Station Attack Police have detained four minor boys in the case. It is alleged that these minors brutally attacked a person with a sickle and made a video of the entire incident and made it viral on social media. The incident occurred near the railway quarter near Tiruttani railway station.
According to the police, the seriously injured person in this attack has been identified as Suraj (34), a resident of Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. At the time of the incident, when passersby saw Suraj in an injured state, they immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and rescued him and first took him to the Government Hospital in critical condition, then referred him to Tiruvallur Government Hospital for better treatment.
Investigation has revealed that all the accused are residents of Nemili area near Tiruttani and were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Police said that the minors first met the victim in a train bound for Tiruttani. It is alleged that in the train itself, he threatened Suraj by holding a knife to his neck and also recorded the video during this time.
After deboarding the train, the accused took Suraj to a secluded area near the railway quarter, where he was attacked with a sickle. The police examined CCTV footage of the railway station and surrounding areas, which led to the identification of the accused.
