
New Delhi. Flights were affected in airports of 5 states of the country on Wednesday. These include Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. At some places technical problems were cited as the reason, while at some airports it was said that there was a shortage of crew. There was a problem in the check-in process in Delhi, after which it was made manual. Indigo flights were affected the most. 70 of its flights were canceled across the country. Out of which 11 were from Madhya Pradesh. Whereas 13 flights in Hyderabad and 42 in Bengaluru had to be cancelled.
Passengers at Varanasi airport were told that Microsoft Windows has reported major service outages across the world. This has affected IT services at the airport. However, Microsoft denied this. The company said that there was no technical problem on Windows. Microsoft’s Windows system is used for airport and in-flight services.
