Four women workers died in fire in Gulal manufacturing unit

Jind. Four women workers were killed and at least 11 injured in a fire at a gulal manufacturing unit in Haryana’s Jind district. The fire reportedly broke out at the entrance of the factory and then the smoke spread inside the factory, police said. This factory is located in a residential area of ​​Safidon Ki Bhat Colony.
Police said that some workers jumped from the roof of the factory to save their lives. Police and fire department personnel reached the spot and with the help of local people broke a boundary wall to save the workers from the burning factory. Police said several fire tenders were used to extinguish the fire, while ambulances were sent to the spot to take the victims to various hospitals.
However, the cause of the fire is not yet known. Four women workers died in the fire. Three of them were around 50 years old, while the fourth woman was 36 years old. About 10-11 people have been injured in this incident and they are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
