During this, he discussed many important issues including Operation Sindoor, the bravery of the army this year, freedom fighter Parvati Giri, antibiotics, remains of Buddhist stupas found in Baramulla, Kashmir and participation of youth in the country. PM Modi said that the year 2026 is going to knock in a few days and during this time the memories of the entire year are roaming in the mind. 2025 gave many such moments of which every Indian was proud. India left its strong mark everywhere.

PM Modi further said that the most beautiful thing about our country is that there is a festive atmosphere in some part of the country at all times of the year. Not only are there different festivals, but local festivals of different states are also organised. That is, if you feel like travelling, then every time, you will find some corner of the country ready with its celebrations.

Remembered freedom fighter Parvati Giri
During this, PM Modi remembered freedom fighter Parvati Giri. He said that next month we will celebrate the 77th Republic Day of the country. Whenever such opportunities come, our mind is filled with a feeling of gratitude towards the freedom fighters and the makers of the Constitution. Our country has struggled a long time to gain independence. He said that people from every part of the country have contributed to the freedom movement. But, unfortunately, many heroes and heroines of independence did not get the respect that they should have got.

Remembering Parvati Giri, PM Modi said that one such freedom fighter is Parvati Giri of Odisha. His birth centenary will be celebrated in January 2026. He took part in ‘Quit India Movement’ at the age of 16. Friends, after the independence movement, Parvati Giri ji had dedicated her life to social service and tribal welfare. He established several orphanages. His inspiring life will continue to guide every generation.

What did PM Modi say about the consumption of antibiotics?
In the last program of this year’s Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi talked important about the consumption of antibiotics. He said that ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) has recently released a report. It has been told that antibiotics are proving weak against many diseases like pneumonia and UTI. This is very worrying for all of us.

During this, citing the report, PM Modi said that according to the report, a major reason for this is the consumption of antibiotics without thinking by the people. Antibiotics are not medicines that can be taken casually. These should be used only on doctor’s advice. Nowadays people have started believing that just take one pill and every problem will go away. This is the reason why diseases and infections are overwhelming these antibiotics.

Operation Sindoor described as a symbol of pride
PM Modi said that this year Operation Sindoor became a symbol of pride for every Indian. The world saw that today’s India does not compromise on its security. People expressed their feelings in their own ways. The same spirit was seen on the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram.

Youth power is the reason for India’s hopes – PM Modi
While talking about the participation of youth in the country, PM Modi said that today the world is looking at India with new hope and the reason for India’s expectations is its youth power, our achievements in science and technology. The youth of India have a passion to do something new and they are equally aware.

He said that the youth ask me how they can contribute to the development of the country. Young Leader Dialogue is the solution to the curiosity of our young friends. Its first edition was released recently and now its second edition will come soon. I will also definitely participate in this. PM Modi said that in this our youth will share their views on important topics like innovation, fitness, agriculture. I am happy to see that the participation of youth is increasing in this. A few days ago lakhs of youth participated in a quiz competition.

PM Modi also spoke about ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about learning Tamil language in the ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’ held in Varanasi this year. He said that under the theme ‘Learn Tamil – Tamil Karakalam’, special campaigns were conducted in more than 50 schools of Varanasi. PM Modi said that Tamil is one of the oldest languages ​​in the world. He is happy to see that today in other parts of the country too, youth and children are showing a new attraction towards Tamil language. He said that this is the power of language.
